Reiki Services
Reiki is a Japanese technique of gentle, non-invasive healing used for stress reduction to better promote the body’s natural restorative processes. In addressing the energy centers of the body, Reiki aims to deepen relaxation, alleviate stress, and promote healing. It is considered a complementary alternative medicine (CAM) modality that is used to better facilitate the body’s natural healing processes. It is not a replacement for medical, psychological treatment, but rather seeks to complement those practices by soothing anxiety around treatment and addressing unarticulated elements of emotional resistance.
I have been practicing some form of energy healing for over 20 years, but in 2021, I completed my Usui Holy Fire Reiki (II) practitioner level 2 training. While all of my readings are “Reiki infused”, I found that offering that particular energetic service to the public was less useful than the readings themselves. So now, I only reserve direct clearing and Reiki services by special invitation or request only. Those private rates are negotiable but typically are between $70-90/hr.
